In this talk, we present a pipeline for fully automated wrapping and cleanup of dozens of FACS scans using Faceform WrapAI. Building a likeness rig from real FACS scans often means a lot of manual work. We’ll demonstrate how we can solve this problem in a few button clicks with a level of quality suitable for silver likeness characters.
Starting with a set of scanned expressions, we’ll show how a chain of WrapAI projects can automatically:
- – wrap all expressions to a common template,
- – stabilize the head,
- – fix eyelid closures and lip intersections,
- – decompose scanned expressions into clean, isolated rig-ready blendshapes.
You’ll see the key processing stages and the reasoning behind each step.
